Okay trying not to freak out but my Juvie Leo had a bowel movement that was the largest i've seen. was about a little over an inch long and half and inch wide. there is no sand or chips in the tank just tiles. so none of that. She eats about 10-12 giant mealworms a day with repashy leo calcium powder dusting on all feedings. Just trying to figure out if this is okay or if i need to do something.

Thanks.

It's probably OK. I have a gecko that makes huge poops (sometimes nearly 2" long). There's a transition period, I have found, where they change from a bunch of small poops to fewer larger ones, as they get older. I have a fat tail hatchling who went quite a long time without pooping at all and I was starting to get worried until yesterday morning, after a shed, I found a huge poop. I think it just happens that way sometimes.

Poop pics are always welcomed here :D Sounds normal to me. It's crazy to see something that big coming out of such little people isn't it. lol

sounds about the same size poo that came out of my baby @@ but he was housed on sand at the pet store- took almost 3 weeks for him to clear out his system, now he has consistant, much more smaller (and comfortable im sure!) poops!
sometimes my adult sophie will have small poops, then it will be a few day, and she had just one super long one that was over an inch! i think sometimes, they just dont want to poop- like humans sometimes ( have a five year old and a husband lol) if the vent isnt swollen/red/looks strange and the gecko is still active and eating just fine, i wouldnt worry too much- do you feed him crickets too? mealis can be hard to digest and what shes pooping may be excess "caseing" .
