UPDATE::
I thought she was dead today when I went to check on her. She looked extremely purney and almost like she was dehydrated. I rushed her for a warm soak and a syringe full of water. When I was checking her over, I noticed something coming out of her rear end. I took a warm Q-Tip and nudged it out. It was poop! I really hope that was a good sign! We will see when we recheck the XRays. The poop was a pastey white really hard type thing. I have no idea what it was!
Oh, and her weird skin- She was in shed! >.< lol. I just helped her do a full body shed and she was back to her regular color!
Yea, she looks pretty pathetic. Her poop REEEKS! omg! She pooped a tad bit more this morning, had to help her of course... Cant wait for her to see the vet tomorrow!
Yea, sorry I meant to make a post recently.. I took her back to the vet on thursday. We rechecked the radiographs and the impaction in question has moved further down her large intestine and has disintegrated! =] She is pooping now and the vet thinks I am doing a great job with her. She still isnt walking and I dont know if she will walk again =/
Sad update =/
This little one passed away the day before yesterday. She had just had an appt. with the vet that Thursday and things in the XRay were looking good...
I came home to find her upside down gasping for air. I dont know if the impaction killed her, or her being upside down for awhile... I dont know how she got there =/
Anyways, I did a necropsy on her today... I found a tumor on the lung! It was very strange. On the R lobe towards the bottom, there was a circular black spot. I am guessing it was cancerous.
I also found what seemed to be a very serious impaction. Her entire colon had started to die and I am speculating that perhaps that is why she couldnt walk? It looked like it had been dying for quite some time, so I am assuming it could have eaten away at the nerves in the back end?
Any other suggestions?
