I would say, everyone who own "W&Y" pair them, and we open a thread where we post pictures of the babies, so we can compare. And if everyone help to start this thread, we can maybe discover the secret genetics of his "morph".

That sounds like a great idea. I wish I had some W&Y to "play with" so that I could join in the fun. :p

Sorry to hijack your thread Max, that is a very cool gecko and I look forward to seeing what he produces for you.

No, I don´t think it´s a super form...just a lucky mutation. Otherwise it would be a lot more of them. So far they have only hatched in two groups of W/Y´s. From the male we have and in a group in Belgium. Our male is also a male from the original animals from Sergei...he is one of the first that came to europe ( he is 7 years now ). Sergei, GeckoLublin and Konrad is the guys who have worked a lot with W/Y´s and they have never hatched a "black" baby ( as far as they say ).

This is the old pic of the girl when she hatched...

and today...still nice lavender color on the head, and two beautiful black eyes.

Thank you for posting the pic. She was stunning as a baby! But she is still quite lovely now too.

Thanks again for the W&Y information. I hope to learn more about them in the future.

Kelli I think it would be a great idea to have a section to where we can post pictures of each morph to compare the variations within each and by each breeder....??
