i think evaported means left overnight for the chlorine to dissipate.

Something that I suspect you're well aware of given your professional background... but for others...

A lot of places have switched from using chlorine to using chloramine, which will not be released if left sitting uncovered the way chlorine will. Removing it requires the use of water conditioners or appropriate filtration.

Not that it matters much for leopard geckos in the concentrations found in tap water. Worth knowing for anyone keeping amphibians, fish, inverts or the few reptiles that are sensitive enough for it to make a difference.

I typically give mine spring water along the lines of Deer Park and the like.

I do have the aquasafe stuff as a backup tho but that is mostly for my amphibians since I don't know if they use Chloramine (different than Chlorine) in our tap water here.

Filtered tap water. I can't stand our tap water here and wouldn't even give it to my animals. The only way I can drink it is filtered so everyone gets filtered.
