Water for Gecko

Hello!
for my gecko, we usually give him basic bottled water as I feel it’s safer than tap. My fiancée recently got a case of Alkaline 9.5 pH water from the store, and just wanted to see if anyone knows if it is safe to give to my gecko?

Not a clue! My geckos and I all use tap water and we're fine.

In my opinion, if your tap water is safe for YOU to drink, then it should be ok for your gecko.

I use a basic water filter, removes some of the chlorine etc so should be better for my Cresties and me.

Alkaline water with a 9.5 pH isn’t ideal for geckos, as their bodies are adapted to neutral or slightly acidic water, and using it could potentially disrupt their hydration and internal balance. It’s best to stick to purified, spring, or distilled water, and you can also use a reptile-safe water conditioner to ensure it’s free of chlorine or other harmful additives for their safety and health.
