Wax Worms

Hey guys

recently got my leopard gecko and for a week i tried feeding her meal worms and crickets but she didnt even look twice at them.

so i then tried a wax worm and she ate it but i fear that she is addicted to them and refuses to eat anything else.

i gave her a wax worm then went and gave her a meal worm she was just about to snap it up befire she realised it wasn't a wax worm.

so pretty much i would like to no how to get her of wax worms and onto something a bit more healthy?

any help would be great =)

Dont give any more.
Little kids would only eat choclate bars if they knew you were a sucker, but if they get hungry enough, they'll eat whats in front of them.

agreed. it will eat if it gets hungry enough. the look on mines faces is priceless when i dont serve up wax worms total disgust lol

so basically i let her go cold turkey on them and try meal worms everyday untill she eats them?

and if so what is the time frame like 2-3 weeks? also how long can they actually go without food?

Mine went without food for close to 2 months without any weight loss.
