Waxy and white substance from hemipenes?

Hello. I just bought a male leopard gecko today. I already have a female, a fat tail, and 2 cresties.
I have a question, however:
As I went to examine my male, I noticed that he had what looked to be a couple drops of water near his hemi-penes. I put my finger on it, and upon doing that, it appeared that he released some white substance. I ribbed it between my fingers, and it was kind of sticky. Now I read about sexually mature male geckos exuding a waxy substance and smearing it around their tank... But is what my male did normal?? He seems really healthy. Clear eyes, mouth, nose, alert, etc.
He is being kept by himself in a small bin (about 7 gallons - in my rack system). There is a female beside him, but they can't see each other in any way.. He's 10 months old..

Thanks in advance!!

Well, the substance is gone, but I'll get a pic of his underside...

That doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary to me. I would honestly assume he was just sexually excited, or coming down from it at least. As long as the hemipenes aren't prolapsed, there is no blood, the bulges aren't swollen or red, and he doesn't seem like he's in any pain, I'd leave it alone for now.

It may not be sexual at all, now that I think about it. It might just be that there was some left over urates and it came out of the vent when you touched it. That can be white (which would be mostly solid) or clear if it's still liquid.

Generally, if there is clear or cloudy fluid coming from the vent and the hemipenes are obviously inflamed it could be a bacterial infection, but since he looks normal otherwise, my bet is on the urates.

Male geckos secrete a waxy white substance from the femoral pores used for marking territory. It's not as commonly seen in leos as some other gecko species but it does occur. Nothing to worry about.
