guys can you help me identify the morph of my new hatchling?

it seems weird because its face is colored black and 60% of its body is dark/black
when it was hatched its not black.. i thought its a black eyed enigma because of its black eyes but after a week its skin got black pigments...
its parents are tangerine enigma x tangerine enigma

Its probably also just a tangerine enigma, but it may be darker red or brighter orange/red than the parents. I have simetimes had my Emerines hatch out dark or black, only to become very vivid colored adults. I have a photo around here somewhere.....

Can you guys tell me exactly what about the hatchling clues you in to the enigma gene? The information I've found about enigma's online is usually pretty brief and not completely helpful.

The symmetry of body pattern and the high-white tail.
Usually, enigma tails have a reduced pattern, beginning very close to the base of the tail.

He has a whitish nose, too. No eclipse in either parents' backgrounds, is there?

I meant to ask earlier.... does it not stress the littel one out to have it in a bin of meanworms ??? I feed my hatchlings after 3 days or so (after first shed) and then its just a couple / few at a time...... seems like they are quicker to start a healthy appetite if I start them with less. Just a thought/ question.

that is actually a really great way to feed young leo's (putting them in a tub with wormies in it.)
Nice lil enigma!!!

is it very rare for a person to have a gecko like this? is this "good rare" or "bad rare" in any sort of way?

i think it a BEE because it has black eyes - till now it never changed..

There was another thread a while back where some one hatched out a darker gecko. It was a MP i think. It stayed pretty much grey i belive.

Looks like he's going into shed. I would call it a BEE if you could confirm or deny eclipse genetics in either parent. It looks like it's eclipse to me...that would also explain the darkness of the tangerine, if it's a patternless stripe eclipse enigma.
BEE= Black Eyed Enigma (from eclipse).

So...eclipse parent(s)?
