Weird green poops

Hello! My leopard gecko George hasn’t eaten in a couple of weeks- which by itself doesn’t concern me. He shed last week, on Friday, and he’s pooped a lot since then which is weird because he hasn’t eaten anything. And they all have been green? I’ve noticed the last 2 times the pee was the green part. I have pics of the poop but I don’t know if posting those would be allowed, lol.

He hasn’t lost any weight, and he’s not lethargic. There hasn’t been any diarrhea either.

Google hasn’t been much help because it said it could be anything from parasites, bacteria, stress, or digestive issues. Those are totally different scenarios so I have no idea what I should be looking for, or doing to make him better.

If there’s anything I can do at home to help, that would be ideal. I would like to avoid a vet visit if possible… But honestly just any guidance on where I should go from here is helpful. Thank you!

Feel free to post poop pictures; it's not considered to be obscene. Sometimes my geckos' poop looks green as well. Sometimes when the poop is fresh, it looks green and when it dries up it's browner.

RE: George’s poop

These are his most recent poops- i’m not sure what is going on because he hasn’t eaten in a couple weeks like i said earlier.

i’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or has seen poop that looks like this - thank you!

The first picture does look kind of yucky. Is there a reptile vet anywhere near you? It might make sense to have an appointment and bring some poop samples.

Yes there is and i made an appointment for Monday! i was hoping to not have to, as cost is a concern for me, but i would rather be safe than sorry.

he finally ate at least one dubia roach today, and i was thrilled lol! he definitely seemed like he felt better today.

thank you for the idea for the poo samples! i’m not sure what to expect besides it being a new patient exam but they will probably want to do some kind of tests i assume. thank you!!
