If you look closely, you can clearly distinguish an extra pair of hind legs and an extra pair of front legs! It could have been twins indeed. Keep these photos and the juvenile (if yo still have it!) in a secure place, this is fascinating stuff!!

like i said the little guy didnt make it out of the egg so i guess you could say it was never born. and if it was born it would have to have been put down, because i dont think it would have had a good quality of life. this kinda thing dose happen. this was the first time a deformity was this extreem in the close to 1900 ish eggs that i have hatched/never made it out of the egg. usualy with deformities like this the baby never makes it out of the egg. thats why it is always a good idea to cut eggs open if they went way past there turm. just to see what might have went wrong. most of the time you will open the egg and nothing will be in it but yellowish geeww. but some times you will see weird things. the only other deformity that i have seen that caused a baby not to hatch, is a misformed lower jaw. and i have seen that i think twice.

and i did put this little guy in formulin to keep him. he will have a nice spot in the gecko room. :main_thumbsup:

That is quite the interesting find! To me it looks like it has two back legs and four front legs...but I think that's just me!
