W&Y was my guess but I didnt want to say it for fear of looking foolish
I dont think I have seen anyone clearly explain how to ID one as a hatchling. Something about blushing? IDK what that means. It would be great if you could enlighten us. Thanks! :)

Sorry - only just saw your post. They are a little tricky to ID at hatching tbh, I have a couple I'm not 100 percent on. This one though is visibly 'different' and shows 'enigma like' washed out edges to its darker bands, it's also a very light general colour and has indeed lightened within a day or two.

Hope that helps.....

So, you took a sub species that has a very enigma like appearance, to a color morph that has enigma like effects on the pattern.....this will be awesome. Cannot wait to see what the little bugger grows up to be.

Sam- thank you for breaking it down to layman's terms for me. You explained it well. :)

Mark- fantastic project! Can't wait to see the outcome once this little one gets bigger.

Not a problem, its rare that id get excited over a project, but this one has me brimmed with anticipation, particularly because i like the patterns of the parents very much.
