Have ben incubating my stuck together eggs without problems for `15 days now. Today i checked on them.....they are uncovered in perlite in incubator at 83 degrees and 80% humidity, and they looked sunken in. They still feel soft, but why sunken in? Should I cover them? It also looks like a bit of white fuzz (possibly beginning stage of mold is occurring on one of the eggs). I think I'm doomed!!!!!!!!

HEELLLPPPP!!!

P.S. second clutch, first dried out in tank, this clutch she laid in moss and took out immediately.

I would advise covering the container in the future though I'm not saying that was the reason the eggs didn't work out.

Maybe, maybe not. One of my first timers has laid 7 clutches, all infertile. My other first timer, a month younger (but not related) has laid 7 clutches all fertile, 4 1/2 of which have hatched (still waiting on the clutchmate). At this point I don't know whether the one with the infertile eggs is just not ready (she's longer than the successful one and less filled out, though about the same weight, which makes me feel that she just needs another year to mature) or if she will never be a good breeder. The male is proven so it's not that. I'll just have to wait till next year to see, and possibly, so will you.

There's no guarantee from any pairing unless both are proven breeders. Even then, all clutches may not be fertile. All you can do is keep trying, maybe try a different pairing.

Is it okay that they stay together all the time? If so, should I add another female to the tank? its a pretty big tank
