Based on your tank dimensions it's roughly a 20 gallon long (at least in terms of floor space). That's best for 2 geckos. However, I keep 3 in a tank that size by adding a 12"x12" "upstairs". If you search in the forums you'll find a description and pictures of it by me. This extra level gives them more floor space. Otherwise, you could get another female and put her in her own tank and introduce the male for a day or two. Regardless of what you do, if you want to add a female breeder you need to quarantine her from your other geckos for at least a month. Given that this is mid-July already, I'd say you should probably start getting things set up for next season if you want another female.

I see you have 2 lamps on the cage, is one a heat lamp and the other a UV? Do you have an under tank heater? What are your warm and cool side temps and how are you measuring them?
