What are some crazy things that came out of breeding?

What are some crazy couples you paired up and got something you didn't expect?

I think that only happens when you dont know your geckos genetics.

I think she means what results have you gotten from breeding geckos that you didnt expect or that surprised you.. something you thought was cool... when trying to prove them out????

Male tremper banded albino bred to his daughter (tremper albino [obviously] x SHTCT). The idea was to get hybinos which I did get, but I also got 2 albino jungles and 1 non-albino jungle with snake eyes.

Oh, sorry well I had never owened a albino at the time and hatched out 2 tremper hybinos after breeding the same pair for 2 years. That was and still was my most exciting hatch.

When they found the enigma! I mean craziness, out of the blue stuff.
and when you do know the genetics but not fully and something else popped out you were expecting

We're going back like 5 years. I'll dig around, but I'm not sure if I still have any.

The first one, I sold to my friend Kim and have always regretted it, it died in her care.
The second one was sent to Chris at Top Shelf Exotics to hold onto for me when I took a job that involved traveling, and he ended up vanishing after selling fake het BPs... I lost my entire collection to him other than a few that were given to another breeder on loan that have since changed hands... at least I know they're still alive and contributing to other breeding projects now.

Steve the white and tan sounds pretty cool, sorry you lost them both! People can really suck sometimes! Hopefully when my eggs hatch I can add a story here!! Anyone else get any astonishing results??

Gosh! that looks almost like a certain morph with a trade name that derived its moniker from a cat breed. (I don't know if I should name it aloud here or not.)

To think that you had it first, maybe! I bet the genetics might not be identical, but rather similar...
