what are some fun things to play with your gecko?

i always read about how to care for your gecko, what to do and (mostly) what not to do... but i've never heard of anything... FUN! what do you suggest?

Well, they're fun to handle (for us, anyway!) but reptiles aren't exactly pets you can play with or train. What are you looking to do with them?

i tried a little game with one of mine and i learned that leos can jump higher than i suspected... wiggled my finger above the gecko, it jumped up and bit it.

haha wow that sounds like a fun game, i don't know if my gecko would go after my finger though, he's usually not too interested in wiggling fingers haha unfortunately.

i read that you can just throw a piece of clothing on a bed or couch and let them play in it... or put like paper towel rolls all around and let them climb through.. do you think he would like this?

Funny, I tried this earlier tonight. Juvies sure have spring in them!

Mine poop in the same corner. To me, that's magical... I look over at my beardie tanks and there's poop EVERYWHERE, even on the walls...

Just let them run round on the floor, put some things down that they can climb
on or run through, also they like to climb up things like fabric items/clothes etc.

I take them around the house, and then look out the window...like a site seeing tour!
(Some of my gecko actually seem to enjoy watching the trains and cars passing by! lol)

Some of ours like to sit on our shoulders as we get their water and papers changed. Some watch tv or surf the internet with us.

I think it's great socialization to include them in as much as possible. They love sitting on windowsills and looking out, and if it is warm enough, having a screen in the window so they can hear the sounds and smell the air. They love that.
Does anyone take their leos outside?

My female doesn't care about my hands or fingers until you feed her. She knows that the worms are coming from there, and tries to attack it to get more

Sometimes its a run round on top of their viv, Yoshi normally tries to go down the back or drop off the side hehe.

They also like playing "lets walk through the kitchen roll tube"

Daisy was watching TV with me other day

They also seem to like running and climbing on the couch Just have to be careful of gaps >.<

Yoshi is the type to do the most silly things, and one day thought it would be fun to climb down the back of the couch :O

He had a great time hiding from us climbing all inside while we were trying to get him out. In the end he was fine but the couch is a wreck haha

I also like to show them to each other As they are male and female i house them seperatly but sometimes i hold Yoshi near Daisy's viv and she watches him then comes up to the glass.

First time i did it she was waggling her tail but then he noticed her too and almost jumped outta my hands to get to her. Then they were licking the glass as if kissing Was so cute

What i do is i put my leopard gecko in the street and watch him chase cars.
