what are some fun things to play with your gecko?

Mine likes climbing around in potted plants.

Actually, he likes climbing around in anything. And hiding.
My avatar right now is him peeking out of my pants leg. I set him down expecting him to go one way, but he turned around and crawled up my leg instead. :laugh4:

Yoshi is the type to do the most silly things, and one day thought it would be fun to climb down the back of the couch :O

Yoshi! That's great; I almost named mine that, but finally decided it didn't quite fit him.

He had a little adventure under the buffet once - he decided he liked it under there by the heater and it took a baby-food jar with crickets in it to lure him back out. I was afraid he was going to stay there all night. :sweatdrop:

Daisy is so sweet like butter wouldnt melt in her mouth, only naughty thing she did was poop on me.

But Yoshi is the Gecko spawn of satan! :devil: He even looks evil on my avatar lol

3 days after i got him my cats tried to kill him and totally destroyed his glass tank, hes been down the couch, under the stand we keep his viv on, almost jumped off the top of his viv multiple times, tried to launch himself off the couch, jumped backwards off my arm onto the couch, almost launched himself out of the viv for no reason....i swear he has a death wish. He has no regard for his own safety at all, its just "i wanna go there!"

But it just gives him more character and i love him to bits :sweetheart:

Mine once realized spontaneously that he needed to be in the lemon tree (which has inch-long thorns all over it) while I was carrying him around. BOING. I was sure he was going to impale himself. :shocked: In the end, I just impaled my thumb trying to grab him while STUTFL looked on, unharmed and, I strongly suspect, amused.

Another time he decided I was NOT taking him to the cricket cage fast enough and just vaulted in there himself. :main_rolleyes:

Leapin' lizards! For having such tiny legs, they sure can jump.


I bet Yoshi could give those cats a run for their money if they ever got him alone.

Mine likes to roam around the house, just have to make sure she does not crawl under something I cant get her out of, like a dresser.. But she loves to come out of her tank, almost too much LOl

i have a male blizzard that thinks its fun to poop on me. i think he actually holds it for days until i pull him out. and i have some babies that im thinking about hooking up as an alarm system. they sound like screeching hawks when i get near their tank, in unison.

Haha My leo likes going outside...well, she's actually picky about the length of the grass. If it's too long she'll chill on me instead But she looks so wild whenever she's outside, I love it! Also I take her running in the livingroom and I (when I had my stuffed animals on shelves that were low to the ground) used to toss him in there. She loved it--she'd bury herself in the fuzzy creatures and poop in the them which was always really gross because I wouldn't know about it for a while since I had so many stuffed animals...gotta love um

Ha that's funny my little Yoshie just loves running around in the grass too.
Once she found a grasshopper and chased it around my yard It was hilarious seeing her face. It was the first time she saw an insect so big

Neither, when it is dark out, their pupil's expand allowing more light in so they can see better in the dark. When it's in the day, they contract because there is too much light. Funny little experiment you can do is go in the bathroom turn on the light then look at your eyes in the mirror. Close your eyes for 10 seconds then open them back up and if your fast enough you can see your pupil's contracting. Kinda weird but ya.

My leopard gecko likes surfing the web with me and going outside in summer. She doesn't seem to like toilet paper rolls much. She also enjoys watching Family Feud and I have no clue why! The ding noise maybe? Oh and she is on my keyboard right now...
