What bedding?

My gecko currently has Reptile carpet but I would like to put her on a new substrate such as eco earth or excavator. she's 4 1/2 inches long, is she big enough?

I would never reccomend anything but paper(butcher paper or paper towels) or floor tiles.

Just use paper towels. Might not look the nicest but definitely the safest, especially for a young gecko.

The brown, cheap paper towel business usually use looks pretty natural, if thats what youre trying to achieve. You may want a few layers, depending on how warm your pad gets.

You could go to Menards or Lowes and pick up some tile. I use stick on tile, but others use slate or the like.

Any tile so long as its not adhesive and has enough traction for them to walk on.
