What did i just witness!

I fed my leo a superworm and he ate it like normal and the worm was down to the end of his throat. THEN all of a sudden he pukes the whole worm in one piece. I have no idea what i just saw! It all happened so fast! any reason to this?

It's probably too large for him. Try something smaller. Some stores sell smaller versions of superworms but I hear they use growth hormone so they don't grow larger. I wouldn't use those. Is it an adult or a juvi you're trying to feed?

If your gecko didn't chomp on the worm's head and swallowed it, the worm could've bit it. Happened a few times with my geckos.

I've been feeding him from the same batch of superworms for a while now. He's a juvi. I'm going to move onto mealworms as soon as my mealworm colony starts producing worms.
