There have been a lot of people looking to start up colonies lately. Let's help them out by answering: What do you feed your mealworms?

My Mealworm Colony's Diet:
Dry bedding: oatmeal, Fluker's cricket feed, vitamins, bran cereals
Moisture: carrot shavings, potato slices

rolled oats for the bedding. For the moisture I use carrots only. Potato's tend to mold if not eaten all the way. I gutload the mealies on occasion, but dusting in the feed dish is done more often.

progecko gutload for the bedding. I also add veggie peelings. What seems to go the fastest is eggplant peels and pepper cores. They also really like crawling into and eating asparagus stems.
