I'm not a breeder, nor do I ever plan to be. To me a leo is a pet, 2, 3, 4 may be in the future. Still pets.

I'm a mom to 2 boys (6 & 4). And I watch our cousin (6) M-F about 50 hours a week. That includes all the fun stuff like taxi runs to & from school on opposite ends of town. Sure beats my former life of a payroll manager, though the salary was a lot better.

I am a professional zoo keeper. I have worked at the Fort Worth Zoo for the past 17 years. Before that at the Dallas Zoo for 4.5 years and even before that as the Live Animal Curator at the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History for 3.5 years.

At both zoos I was in the Herp Department. I guess you could say that I am a long term captive.

I am a Emergency Animal Care Specialist where I do in home health carefor all animals domesticated to wildlife. I am also a Breeder of the Manx cat, Leopard Geckos, Crested Geckos, Beardies and Fat Tails( this is my first year breeding the Fat tails and Crested Geckos) I sell at shows and I also make Native Ameican Items including Jewelry to sell. So I can keep pretty busy. But I love what I do. And I am self employed! Deb

Quite the mix here to say the least. My wife is an ER nurse but after 30 years not enjoying it because the corporate BS is idiotic. My dauughter is a pediatric opthalmologist's assistant, my older son teaches OR techs at the community college and works in the OR also, I've got a few more years left as a firefighter/paramedic on South Beach. They must love us old farts so much that they lure us into hanging around with a "drop program"; you work another 3 or 5 years AFTER you retire and collect your 90% pension plus your regular paycheck. If it wasn't for the geckos we'd be off traveling the world, so the little critters DO help us be more responsible and mainstream.

I am a microbiologist 1 at the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab. I work in the bacteriology department...I LOVE my job, work with great people, but don't like working for the state...I get tissue samples plus other stuff and we determine whether bacteria caused the illness or death. Lot's of abortion cases and respiratory cases this time of year. We are busy all year, whereas other departments have busy cycles...but I digress...

I am a computer forensic specialist. I work for the federal government; one of those 3 letter agencies.

I love the work and my job.

I just got into geckos about 1.5 months ago. They are sooooooo neat.

I have no idea how my geckos are as I purchased them from Petco; I know now that wasn't the best idea. I believe they are both females. Right now they weigh 24 and 20 grams. So if anyone has any idea how to age them I'd appreciate any advice available.

3-4 months old. But it all depends on how well they were taken care of before and after they were bought.

I am a nurse. I work at a hospital where the people you work with don't appreciate you. I am also going to school to getmy Master's degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, which is basically a nurse for children and it allows me to write out prescriptions under a MD.

Strange...
I am a nurse that works in a hospital where the people you work with don't appreciate you...
I currently manage wound healing and I seem to be the only nurse at the facility who understands peritoneal dialysis. This means that I am the nurse who gets yelled at when somebody does something REALLY stupid with the cycler and says
"Well I didn't know..."
I have started to make people sign a paper stating that I spoke with them about dialysis with a detailed description of what we covered.
some of the nurses have signed the same paper three times and still screw it up... they hate me...

Good luck with the NP!

I want to go back to school for CRNA!
