What is an enigma???

I see that they are much more expensive than the other morphs. Are they a morph? How do you get them?

I found a lot about enigmas, but nothing about what defines an enigma

What they are ? well the name tells you that they are just what it says on the tin.Though we are learning a little more each time the enigma still has more to give.They are price high coz they are the newist single gene leo morph and it is a dominant morph.And with each enigma combo morph the price climbs higher still.The enigma was first discovered in the Bell's leo collection then got past onto kelli H who refined the morph.Getting one ?? the only way is to buy one i'm afraid :D there no one you can make.

The prices will go down to at least half as much in a year or two, though. Mack Snows started out at 2 grand (I think??) two years ago, and now they go for about $100-125 unless they are really really yellow (in which case, they go for less)

New morphs and rare morphs will always be much higher priced.

I see people say you can not create one. Why ? (someone else did)
what defines you as finding a new morph rather discovering a morph...
Sorry prob hijacked or opened a meal worm can that should be interesting

Someone else didn't "create" the enigma - it's a random genetic mutation. Something that NATURE made. And then people bred.

As for finding a new morph and discovering a new morph - I think they're the same. It's the luck of the draw, when a random genetic mutation occurs. It tends to happen with the bigger breeders because of the sheer volume of geckos that they produce. It's like winning the lottery..........you have a better (still not great) chance of winning if you buy 50,000 tickets than if you buy 100. The odds aren't impossible - just better. ;)

If you mean "creating" new combination morphs - like mixing morphs together that haven't been mixed together before to get a new outcome - well, that takes some luck, too, but also planning. ;)

need to add another question. with this morph enigma... i see the written what an enigma is... then you see these enigma sold on the internet that are crossed and have non of the visible characteristics that would be definition be an enigma. Now if the Leo does not look like an enigma how are you sure that you are truly getting an enigma ?
