What is happening to my leo?

My leo has been fine for the couple of years that I've had him, but now his skin is starting to look like this and I don't know what to do. What does this mean?

Sometimes they have a funky shed, or the shed starts off that way. It should ultimately be fine. Make sure he has enough humidity and give him some time. I've seen it in my geckos before and it usually has resolved.
