A really underfed tangerine, I would definitely get a fecal exam on that little guy

I have had some leopards totally change their pattern from when I got them last year to now. My guess would be about 2 months old. Feed it small-medium sized mealworms dusted with calcium and stuff. If he doesn't it then try small crickets dusted. That should get the poor kid going in the right direction. I hope you have good luck with him. It is a cute little leopard.

quick question...i got crickets from the store and i asked for small ones since its just a kid, they gave me crickets that were about...id say less than half an inch i mean these guys are TINY they look like they just hatched...is that too small, should i go back and get slightly larger ones?

i know that but i cant really tell because everytime i try to grab the leo he goes insane and runs everywhere and jumps out of my hand dangerously close to falling 6 feet down onto the ground...so i prefer not to handle him but ill wait to put in crickets tomorrow cuz i get the feeling he isnt gonna eat anything today but i DO have a bowl of mealies in there....so we will see if he eats those

When do their colors and pattern really come through?
3MO-6MO-12MO?

All these babies somewhat look the same to me, except for a few I could not tell one from the other. Is there a website that defines all the morphs and has some good pics of hatchling Vs adults?

Here's a normal as a hatchling, juvie, and then sub adult:

You can see how the pattern breaks up as they grow.

wow i would've never thought they would end up looking so different o.o by the way in general, how long does it take for a leo to mature into an adult?

so judging from these pictures...mine is still just a hatchling?...so he must be real young o.o what about juvies, generally how long does it take for a leo to be considered a juvie?

not for long he wont be! as soon as he stops spending 100% of his time in the cave on the warm side of his cage he'll be eating like the wind! :p

I would really like to recommend getting a fecal sample to the vet. If it has parasites that go untreated, it may not live long enough to see how he turns out.
