Hi,

This morning I woke up and when checking on my geckos I found this:

IM001426.jpg

She is housed with a male and another female. Does this look like a injury from fighting, or perhaps cricket bite (we fed them crickets last night).
She was not bleeding when we found her it was already stopped, but I did notice the 2 female shaking their tails at each other (they have been sexed and there are definately 2 females and one male).

Thanks for your info
Sabrina

is it possible a larger female have done that too (she is a little bigger than the girl in the pic)? Or is that only a "breeding bite."
I didnt think that the male would possibly draw blood.

Oh, when they're exited, they SURE CAN draw blood. They can get pretty aggressive during copulation. Good ol' testosterone... :) Looks like it's healing already.

Yeah I would say breeding bite, if it was the other female being territorial she would probably have bites on other places as well.

we are not 100% sure what she is but we were told by a few people that she is a tremper albino! Yeah is definately looks like its on its way to healing. So just on the head probably mating, if its fighting then I would be seeing it in other places too. Thats good to know!!

Thanks guys!
