My friend just sent me this picture the gecko is gravid and due to lay. Anyone seen this before? I instructed her to get a vet determination but I'm lost on this one.

Oh my god. I have never seen such a filthy enclosure, and for a breeding female?
She needs to see a vet ASAP.

I think you and her need to have a long talk on tank setup, maintaining, feeding and her overall future with that gecko.

You need to get that gecko to a vet because that egg could cause problems in that gecko
