I had gone on vacation for about a week and got back and a water bowl had been spilt and the paper towels were soaked. I had a cousin who used to keep lizards a lot looking over them, but maybe he wasnt paying very much attention. So I get home and clean the cage as soon a I see it. I check the leos the two new normals, nothing out of the ordinary... My albino that I have had for a while has two enlarged legs... His front left adn back right. Any idea whats wrong?

I think it is called water blisters like when we sit in water for to long and get wrinkally that is what happens to them was the cage really wet? if the cage was not too wet it looks like it may be stuck shed keep an eye on it if it gets bigger go to the vet but if the cage was really wet it should go away on its own in a dry enviroment in a day or too

I don't know what is wrong with him, but it looks painful. I recommend you take that leo to the vet as soon as possible.

Yeah it was really wet. Okay, I was thinking it was something like that, but wanted to make sure...
so if this is not better in two days go to the vet it is probably infected and your leo will need batril to get rid of the infection from the wet conditions good job noticeing right away

Yeah we got home about 11 at night and the first thing I did was check the leos. It seems to already be going down though. I just wanted to be sure though. And there was no stuck shed. The strange thing is there was three leos in teh cage, adn he was the only one with problems.

It could be a reaction to the wet paper towels--the bleach/inks used to whiten/decorate them combined with stagnant water...do your paper towels have any printing on them?

Looks like edema to me, Ive seen that in monitors with liver/kidey issues, Im a leo nob though...Ild take the above advice and goto the vet with that one.

Just make sure his water bowl doesn't get spilt again and keep him onm dry paper towels. I would suggest a vet.
