What Kind Of Morph is this

I got him/her today and it looked like it was a special kind of morph. I has two white stripes on his/hers head. It is doing fine with my other leopard gecko, they're sniffing each other. Here is a couple pics of my new one.

sorry buddy, it's just a lavender/high yellow/normal.
if it's a bit young then as it gets older its stripes will spread out into lots of spot.

Malt_Geckos,
ALL of the pet stores I go to have they're leos on sand. It's no harm to them whatsoever.

Yes, but don't let that ruin your purchase... It is gorgeous and will be even better as an adult!

Don't even go there about the sand... PM PM PM PM!!!!

That wouldn't ruin my purchase, that would double the value! I really like morphs.

What did you mean about, "don't even go there with the sand PM PM PM PM!!!!"

It was just an idea to other members not to start a debate about sand here... They get ugly and can get good people in trouble... PM stands for private message and that's how the matter should be discussed...

Edit: THAT was my 7000th post?!

Congratulations on your new gecko. It's a good idea (well, actually, a great idea) to quarantine your new gecko away from your other one for at least a month to avoid any chance of one infecting the other with anything.

Some good topics about sand. I'd recommend any newbie who plans to put their geckos on sand to read them, it helps to form an opinion wether it is good or bad.

Well, coming back to the topic under discussion... Geckoboy, no matter how different it looks in person. Unless in person the spots disappear, or change shapes, or colors awfully change... That's a normal. The genetics of the animal are not going to change just because you'd like them to.

If you like morphs, you should have done some research so you know what you are looking for. You would be awfully lucky if you went to a pet store and bought an high end morph without knowing it.

But from your posts, I can tell that you don't want an specific morph because you like it, but rather want to have something super special without caring about what it is by having invested just a few bucks. But I'm afraid you don't. There isn't such thing as two leopard geckos alike, they all have traits that make them unique but it takes much more than that to consider them from an specific morph.

Sorry for telling you off but I think it's disresfectful to the animal to want it to be something it isn't. The sooner you assume it the better for you.

Well excuse me for THINKING that my gecko looked a little bit different from the ones I see in pictures and the one I have.
I understand when I said "Double the value" I miss used those words. What I meant was that I am really interested in morphs.
But you have no right to tell me how to think. This leopard gecko looks much different from the regular.
I had no realize he looked like a morph until I put him in the tank.

Don't you think these two sentences are a bit contradictory?
This leopard gecko looks much different from the regular.
I had no realize he looked like a morph until I put him in the tank.

It's not that you thought your gecko was a little different at first (I wouldn't go as far as to say "much different"), I guess that's normal if you are new to leos.

It was more the attitude of disbelief even after several people told you it's a normal. I just tried to explain to you why your gecko it isn't a morph rather than just telling you it isn't. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh.
