Hey guys I had these eggs hatch out not too long ago but i am a bit confused as to what morph they are especailly the last one. They are all from a Tremper Enigma X Tremper Enigma 66% het Eclipse ph raptor.

Any help is greatly appriciated.

Well, one of your Tremper Enigmas must not be Tremper because none of those are albinos. The first two are normals and the third is an Enigma. Do you have pics of the parents. The way the genetics are listed I would guess that the second parent is supposed to be an Enigma 66% possible het Eclipse and Tremper. That would make more sense with the outcome so far.

Here are the pics of the parents i even checked the labels on the containers i bought them in but idk
First two Pics: Female Tremper Enigma
Second Two Pics: Male Tremper Enigma 66% Eclipse ph Raptor

They certainly look like Tremper Enigmas but that would leave 0% chance for any of the offspring to be non-Trempers and those babies are not Albinos.

Yea thats what I thought because when you put theses together is says you should get
25% Tremper Enigma (2 copy)
50% Tremper Enigma (1 copy)
25% Tremper Albino

SO how on earth could these be Normals, I dont know if this is true or not but can the females save the genes form another male that i had bred her to bafore?

Females can retain sperm. Do you know if the female had been bred before you got her? If the female wasn't gravid my another male and both parents are albinos it could be that they are different strains (Tremper and Rainwater). Do you have more eggs from her incubating?

I believe that she probably retained the sperm from another male or at least that's the only explination I can come to think of, because I did have her bred to a hypo tangerine before so I think this is why I have normals being hattched but is it bad to pair a female with differnt males during a breeding season if so do I need to rethink the genetics of all my other babies

I read in another post that the newer sperm would override the old sperm but I dont think that is true. It is a bad idea to breed more than one male to a female because it would be difficult to determine which gecko is the father. So yes its a bad idea. And yes you may have to rethink the genetics of your other babies.

How long ago did the breeding occur with the hypo tangerine?

I think it was about like a month to a month and a half ago

Well seems like you had your answere along time ago, RETAINED SPERM it is! So this means you have one female with 2 different males love juices in her. If she is already laying eggs, hatching, and the hatchlings are different then you must of breed her to both males pretty close together.

I'm pretty sure the other male is the dad then. Females can retain sperm for months. That's why it's a bad idea to breed a female with more than one male per season. It can be almost impossible (depending on genetics) to determine who the father is.

Hey its alright to make mistakes! You just have to learn from them and move on which seems like your doing. Asking questiona ia what you needed to do to help find the answere. You wouldn't of knowb what to correct.
