This is my new gecko Harper Emery. No idea on morph few things have been said. Rather not post them here to influence but if you guys could help a girl out would be awesome.
IMO, currently, it looks like a Hypo Tangerine.
However, if the dark spots on the back disapear with the age, it could be classified as a Super Hypo Tangerine.
BTW, a nice gecko you have got!
I am still trying to understand all the morphs, so I can't give you any input. But...I had to make a comment on her sleeping picture....too cute!! She looks healthy and happy.
Thank you. It is a rescue I took in. He is about 4-5 years old so I would say his black spots aren't going any where.
This is a pictures of my three girls. The one to the far left is my high yellow. The one in the middle is my Super Hypo Strip het Tremper Albino. He looks like the one in the middle just a tad lighter.
Maybe its the angle of the pic but he looks a little dehydrated in a couple of those pics.
Cute geckos
Lovely girls! Im impressed you got them to lineup like that and take a photo.
Just want to clarify something here. High yellow is a reference to a pattern not a color (ex. tangerine is a color). High Yellow is a normal that has reduced spotting on the body, so essentially a very low grade hypo. Next is your hypo which has highly reduced spotting on the body. Then you have the super hypo which has no spotting on the body.
So you have a hypo since it has greatly reduced spotting on the body. Whether it would be considered tangerine is debatable. Its hard to tell what the true coloring is from the photos posted.
Thank you. He possibly was dehydrated. There wasn't water in the tank when I got him and hadn't been fed much in the last few months. We put a moist hide in there and he spends a lot of time in it, laying down and licking the sides. All those pictures were the first week we had him. If I am up to it tomorrow will take him out and try for better pictures.
When it comes to the photos... lots of work and lots of rejected photos. LOL
