As far as i know it looks like a tangerine enigma to me, and i agree, it might truly have that color as it may not. A couple weeks ago, they had a different description of the "SuperBlood" on the original website, it said the objetive of the project was to create red animals, but didnt specificate about the true line breeding or morphs they were working with. In the website pictures you can actually see NOVAS, Tangerine Enigmas and Tremper Enigmas being called "SuperBloods".

Also, the creator of the facebook page "Norwich Leopard Geckos" didnt have a clue either, seems like He doesnt know about genetics very well, you can actually see that if u browse trough the pictures and see the way morphs are named/listed. He posted on the superblood picture description that this "new morph" is made by breeding two Blood Hypos together, and we all know this is completely FALSE. I started commenting about that (and many other morphs wrongly named/descripted) with him and he got mad at me. Also, most of the pictures from that facebook page are collected randomly at the internet, same as R.T. app, so if we put all together we have no clue about the info being true or not, so IMO neither the "superblood" picture or the app should worth our attention for now.

It was a joke Morgan and it wasn't directed at anyone. Sorry if you took offense buddy. Everyone was poking a little fun at it and I was too.

Time to go back into hiding again. I guess the time off here wasn't long enough. PM me when the blue geckos hatch Kelli.

You better not go into hiding! :whip: I'll have to force you back!

Yes, I will certainly pm you when the baby blues start hatching. I expect them to start pipping once I return from the end of the rainbow and have collected my gold from the leprechaun that lives there!

Hey, leprechauns aren't real...are they???? If Ron says they are, then I believe it!

I apologize. The lack of sun up here in the armpit of California has tainted my mood. I'm in desperate need of a SoCal reptile show.

No worries Morgan! Believe me, if I'm directing it at anyone in particular, I'll quote you first! You should know me better than that.

Now shut up and breed! Oh wait...wrong forum. Sorry. :(

I have the app it is awesome I DIED over it I would......SO ANYTHINg for that!
The app describes it like this..........This gecko shows greatly improved color of the blood morph. The term "Super" does not apply to co-dominance in this case.
I will rake a blue too....put me on the list ! ;)

Haha, people take things awfully seriously. Obviously, asking Ron if he spoke with the breeder would be a better avenue, instead of jabbing and mocking on a forum.

The only really good solution would be for one of the European contributors on here to verify the integrity of these in person; perhaps the breeder will be at the HAMM show in March and have one on hand.

Justifiably, there is always skepticism about some of these new "morphs", but 99% of us aren't going to buy them right out of the gate anyway, so what's the point in being pessimistic?

Sorry for the soapbox, but I've seen enough derision on here to be a bit put off every time I see it.

I had no intent to mock or ridicule the illustrious Ron Tremper, one of the great pioneers in leopard gecko morphs. I do apologize if my one post above made it seem like I was. I view him with the utmost respect and admire all the work he's done.

Like I said, I had no idea that this thread would escalate into this. My intentions while asking the question were certainly not to stimulate derision. I feel rather confused now, not knowing if that gecko is for real or not. Regardless, I think it's a stunning gecko.

Carly, I know you had good intentions, and was simply stating something I've noticed in many places here on Geckoforums, not in any way directed toward you but toward the purveyance of negativity and skepticism that developed along the way. Still, there is no evidence, in this TINY segment of the gecko hobby we're in on this forum, that this morph is or is not what the pictures portray. I'll believe it when I see it, but it's pretty damn cool at face value.

Remember, several of the best have been accused of using Photoshop, including sponsors here on this site.

I'm still more curious about that supposed pie-bald mutation, that's one I really want to see in person as well.
