What should/do you do with an old viv?

I have an Exo-Terra cage which cost a lot but I think my gecko needs a bigger one now that he's grown so much. I don't want to waste my current cage by just letting it sit in a cupboard so what can I do with it?

you could find something else to put in it or see if you can find someone who wants a leo and give it/sell it to them. You could always sell it on craigslist.

What size is your Exo-Terra? It would give us a better idea of what you could put in there. Maybe make it a tropical dart frog terrrarium?

What size new cage are you getting? Would you get another Exo-Terra?

I have a 12"x12"x12" now. Getting a new cage for my gecko for Christmas. If i'm not mistaken, I saw this in the shop. Hopefully I'm going to get it. PT-2310

If you aren't interested in getting another pet for it, I was going to say Craigslist. You'll get rid of it in a heartbeat there, most likely.

Well, I would like another pet but I don't think my dad would allow that. I was thinking about catching a tree frog from my garden. I also forgot to ask if an adult gecko could live comfortably in a viv measuring 18"x12"x6". The floor size would be as big as a 15 gal if I'm not mistaken.

15 Gallon Floor Space

One Leo would love it.

However, how much other stuff is in the tank.

Just make sure that you have enough open floor space.:main_thumbsup:

You didn't want to get the huge 36"x18"x18" Exo-Terra glass terrarium, only 249.99? Just kidding.

I think the Large Flat Faunarium would be fine (very cheap too!), as it has 216 sq. in. of floor space which is about the same as a 10 gal (200 sq. in.).
