what should I do?

hi everyone, id like to start off by saying your all so helpful...so i need some help. I have the tangering in a 10 gallon tank with repti carpet, kidney shaped bowl for wax worms (has calcium in it as well) corner water bowl, and 2 plants...oh and a half log for sleep time. my trouble is that he will only eat wax worms AND on top of that his tail isnt too fat. i got him at petco about 20 days ago and hes been eating the wax worms for about a week and a half but hasnt put on any tail weight. as youknow my albino died and she didnt eat so im really worried that hes going to die now too. what do i do? he eats the wax worms and poops as well but isnt gaining weight!! will pics help?

You need a humid hide on the warm side. How are you heating the tank and what is the temp on the carpet not the air temp from the gauge you have on the glass?
I would start feeding it about 5 medium sized crickets dusted with vitiams and calcium with D3.

at that age you wont see much gain in tail weight

Also, make sure that you downsize everything. The waterbowl ir really high and is hard to acces for him, same thing for the worm/calcium dish. I say ditch the lodge and get two dry hides, one on warm end and one on cool, and a humid hide with smaller bowls for easier access.

It takes a while for them to gain weight. You might want to get it dewormed as well, just in case.
