What should I get?

I'm getting overwhelmed with feeders that had grown too large for my geckos; I'm thinking maybe its time to introduce another type of herp that'll eat larger prey items. Any suggestions? I need one that is mellow, human-friendly, and doesn't mind me touching it all the time. To be honest, I like leachies, but I don't think they accept too much interaction. So I'm thinking maybe beardie? What do you think?

A beardie wuld be great for taking care of your larger feeders, and love you for it

I need to start reading up the beardie section. Are they suppose to be one of the most sociable reptile?

heh, beardies are awesome! and they are garbage disposals when it comes to extra feeders. i feed off my extra adult male dubia to them. easy to care for, extremely sociable if handled frequently, and very fun to watch. if you want something slower, i would also suggest blue tongue skinks. again, awesome lizards that are very easy to handle. as for leachies, i have a female GT that is a little over a year old, and she's extremely handleable. imho no reptile is ever "tame" but some are more tolerant to handling. i think the more you interact with them, the more tolerant they become. just my 2 cents.

Beardies are wonderful pets. I don't know about their availability where you live, but it's a good deed to take a beardie off someone's hands since they are so prolific.

Oh!! How could I have forgotten about blue tongue skinks!! I adore them, but beardies are cute too...I'll need to research on both before deciding. I would prefer to buy a juvi from fellow herper here; if not possible, I'll have to buy from a reptile shop.
