Sort of paper towels.
It's lab bench cover paper, and comes in a big roll.
You have to cut it to fit.
It's textured and absobant on one side, and plastic on the other.
It's only avalible through Fisher Scientific (or other lab supplies outlets), and a bit on the expensive side.

But, one roll lasts years, are we LOVE the stuff :main_yes:

I love your guitar Stan, and that stuff looks great.
I go with tiles though. Nice one time shop, cheap also.

Oh, thanks Sam. :)
There are actually 2 guitars back there.

Yeah, I know one of these days I will get tile.
When leos get a few years on, their toe nails can get long.
Tile would be a great way of keeping them filed down.
Or, I guess I could just use a big sheet of sandpaper for the substrate! :main_laugh:

Hello,

I also use paper towels, it is easy to clean and leos take on a more intense color than other substrates dark. :)

A greeting,

Edu

Hmm, I never thought of it that way.
You are right, they do look nicer against the white.

Where do you get that paper from!? Such a big roll my mom would finally stop complaining about me stealing all her bounty, Lol

i use this micro fiber neoprene kitchen rug i found at bed bath and beyond with repti-carpet underneath it. its great. looks nice, flame resistant, machine washable, transfers heat well because its thin, and it has a velvety texture to it that is really soft, and there aren't any loops in it for the little toe nails or teeth to get caught on, plus its easily cut to any size with normal scissors. they are a little expensive at $30 (well 24 with those 20% off coupons they send out) but i only needed to buy one to cover both of my tanks (one ten gallon and one 29 gallon), so it wasnt a bad buy IMO. one of them would probably cover 3 - 4 ten gallon tanks. comes in different colors and if you go back to the kitchen rug section there are other patterns and such. i used just the plain tan one.

That's an interesting idea.
I would be affraid of fumes coming off of the rubber backing because of the constant heat from my UTH.
But, I always have to find something to complain about! :main_rolleyes:
