I adopted it out to her for free and realy the only way to tell is if you had the parents because almost all banded geckos hatchlings look excactly the same. all my hatchlings even diferent breeds look exactly the same. Send me pics as he grows up and I will be able to tell you as soon as he starts to loose his stipes andget dots if he's a tucson he may never loose his stripes.
Well if it was found in phoenix than it could be bogerti or variegatus. Most likely it is an intergrade. It really does not matter what it is other than the fact that it is a desert banded gecko. Pima county in Tucson has the purest bogerti, and even they all look different. I will post more pics of this later. Tyler.
Skyline, you don't have any texas bandeds (coleonyx brevis). They are not found in Arizona. They are only found in north eastern Mexico, eastern New Mexico, and Texas. They are also smaller than desert bandeds. Tyler.
