My oldest grandson, 10, went outside and captured this gecko by hand. He is so good at this. It is not native to Texas. I have failed to find it online. Any thoughts? The last image is probably the best. It is in a flightless fruit fly bowl in the terrarium. The top of its head is a lovely auburn shade. The triangular pattern shows well along its back and tail. Notice how it has "colored up" as it gets used to the terrarium.

I don't know what it is. How have you researched online? If you haven't done any of these suggestions, try them:
--put the picture of the lizard in the google search box. I tried to do it but I couldn't get the image to work for me
--wherever you're located, google "lizards of ________" and you may get more info
--contact your local or state herp society, send them a picture and ask them.

Good luck, let us know what you find out.
