Im going to be getting some Leos soon and I want to breed them, I was wondering when do I know when she is done. when do I take the eggs out when she is completely done laying all of her clutches or when she is done with her clutch.

Leopard geckos usually lay 2 eggs at a time and could do this anywhere from once to 20 times during a 6-month or so breeding season. They lay a new clutch (group of eggs) about every 2 weeks but it can vary. I'm not sure from your question exactly what you're asking, but I think this is the least of your worries right now. Before you even consider breeding it is best to go through the following steps, and you should plan on it taking at least a year before you breed:

1. Get some leopard geckos (make sure to keep males alone and separated from each other and from females)
2. Learn how to take care of them by reading some books, reading things from this forum and observing them
3. Have some problems with feeding or shedding (this happens to everyone at some time), figure out how to deal with it and do it successfully
4. Think really hard about having enough space to house babies, having places to give or sell the babies if you can't keep them all yourself, having enough money for the incubator, caging, food and possibly medical care for adult and baby geckos
5. Read as much as you can about breeding from books and from questions people have asked and answered on this forum
6. Make sure your parents also understand about how much this will cost, what it will involve and how much space it will take up and that they agree to this.
6. After you've gone through steps 1-5 successfully, if you still want to breed, you will probably be ready.

you have to take the clutch out right away DON'T wait until she lays all of them. I would do some more research about leos, and make sure you have enough space, time, and money to care for them.
best of luck:)

I'm sure that your excited to breed but please realize that if you didn't realize the laying rate and what to do with the eggs of your gecko you may not be ready for the other problems that come along with them. your female could have laying problems or other medical issues with becoming a mom and you owe it to her to educate yourself so you can help her if she needs it. I was so excited to build my first group this year after keeping leo's for 5 years ... but ... I took a serious look at my setups and realized I couldnt house 60 hatchlings ( if all my females laid at maximum and everyone made it through hatch and the first week) until I moved and I dont want to be moving with incubating eggs so I am holding off till next year - unless my accidentally putting a male in with the girls for a night made a difference.

Everyones really nice here I've found.. and I'm not trying to be mean I just want to make sure you dont make the mistake I almost did!
