Where can i find Mealworms at this time of year?

I need Mealworms asap! A lot of places aren't shipping due to xmas or have no mealworms available. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on around 1,000 mealworms pronto? My poor leo is eating me out of house and home and the $2+ for 50mealworms is NOT working for me and isn't helping me build my colony fast enough.

So any ideas?

The only way to go is the pet store mealie way. I buy mealies at the pet store for $4.00 every 100 mealies. I think that's the best you can do... Sorry.

You can still get them at Armstrongs ( www.armstrongcrickets.com ) but it's $13 for overnight delivery. It would still be cheaper than what you're paying now.:main_laugh:

At our local aquarium/fish store they have mealworms, I was surprised. You can even order them in larger quantities I think. It's worth looking into if you have an aquarium store near you.

Try not to be hard on yourself Liz, it happens to the best of us, lol. As long as you can still get some to feed her there is no harm done. ^^
