Where do you buy your racks?

Where do you guys buy your racks? I always see tons of racks on breeders websites and wondered where you got them. Especially the large scale breeders.

Second this. Except in my case I tend to be a horrible DIY'er and I end up ruining materials. :main_laugh:

I have made my own and purchased some and although making them is cheaper I still prefer using my Animal Plastics racks (iris). The quality and appeal just cant be matched unless you have a decent workshop.

We made our own, but our snake racks are from RBI. They arrive fully assembled. I'm planning on switching all my racks to RBI or Animal Plastics when I have the money for it. I like the look of them and they take up less space than my long, bulky ones. I use the Iris ones.

Just bought two from Boaphile, come fully assembled and have the bins and shipping is included. Still waiting on them to get here.

Since I am a putz at building stuff, ALL of my racks and cages are from Animal Plastics with Iris tubs. I have been extremely happy with them!

I just ordered the sterilite Rack from AP I could'nt really see a difference in the Iris...Marcia do you know the difference?



I just purchased a rack from Animal Plastics better prices if you are able to pick it up assembled at a show or if you are ok at putting things together.

i also bought one from Boaphile great rack but almost twice the price. But it comes assembed, but it take 10x longer to get it.

Id say its a toss up!

Also the Irish racks on AP website says it uses men's shoeboxes from the container store (14-3/4" x 10-1/8" x 5-5/8" h). That seems quite small, and the larger boot box seems a bit too big. Anybody using Iris 375 for adults?

This is why I didn't go with the Iris rack..I didn't like the tub sizes and i was afraid that they may be discontinued some day...where are sterilite is more easily obtained.

We do AP... We have a diy... but its time consuming and I am a math and measuring Fail. Sooooooo.... I think I am sticking with AP... I also do the Sterilite.
