where do you buy your super worms?

Hey guys i made the cross over to Dubia and all my geckos made the transition with no issues except for one. Her name is Star and she has always kept her distance from the dubia. So what i did was gave her some time with out eating to get her real nice and hungry and it worked! only thing was when she went to eat the dubia she didn't catch it right in her mouth and it crawled on to her neck and she freaked out and couldn't get it off so i had to help and ever since then when i feed dubia she runs into the hide cave. She adores meal worms and takes the large super worms with no problem. So i am setting up a bin where i can purchase some in bulk and just keep them alive while i feed them out. I think a Dubia and super worm combo is a great balance of food.

So just looking to get the best price possible on a nice size quantity of supers to keep on hand.

Just checked out their site they seem to stand behind their product which is good plus its next day so no waiting. thank you for the heads up. I see people are keeping their worms on bran or oats or both. does anyone just use oats? im having a bit of trouble finding bran at a smaller quantity for a good price.

Hi !!! I use www.vita-mealie.weebly.com . They also sell mealies great customer service. Also with your first order they will send you a voucher for some for free with your next order. They raise them special read about it. My gecko loves em.

Expresscrickets.com is much cheaper then the vitamealies and offer next day shipping that so far is a deal you can't beat. I did find some supers cheaper then expresscrickets.com with shipping but its only $5 cheaper for the same count. i think i rather spend the extra $5 bucks and go through a reputable source. thanks for the info guys.

I normally purchase 500 from the reptile shows but they dont normally last me insanely long because i never put them on a bedding just kept them in a cup and my geckos ate them all up before the next show even if i spaced the feeding out with dubia. So i will set up a tub for them with oats and will order my thousand and will refresh them with what i get from the shows when they come around. :main_thumbsup:

Never used the other company but I know about the quality from VITA. Top notch. Your decision but they use Priority mail and its included with their Vita bedding for that price. I LOVE THAT COMPANY.JMO

Don't know about supers but I just had crap orders from MEALWORMS2GO so I used Grubco.com and was VERY PLEASED!!! Good prices NOT ONE DOA.

Also I get Gutload from Cody at ProGecko and its Awesome!!!! I just a 75 oats 25 Cody ProGutload in my bins and I haven't had any die off...I rotate bins in the fridge and out!!! Love Cody's gutload. 5lbs is about $9 but it lasts you awhile using it with oats.

Back before I started my meal worm colony, I would buy from this lady at the All Animal Expo http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/ The worms were good. She seems to have comparable prices to other vendors being mentioned here. What I like most is that she's local to me. The website has some tempting value packs.

just checked out Grubco.com they are not giving a gaurenteed live arrival due to weather. So their out for sure lol. especially when everyone else still stands behind their product. Their price was fair.

So i just ordered 1000 super worms for a really good price off ebay. the cheapest i have found and they have very good feedback if anyone would like the info behind it i have the item number for you i can pm it. I will post my over all experience with these people once they come in. im guessing they wont be shipped till mon so i should have them wed.

I really prefer to purchase off of ebay because you get the ebay buyer protection on top of the paypal protection just make sure you read the listing clearly and hold the seller to their policy to the word. :main_thumbsup:

Hey everyone so i finally got my Super Worms in the mail and i am very pleased. I purchased them from a guy on ebay between the worms and the shipping it came to $25.50 he shipped via USPS priority. They came in a box with no substrate or anything just some egg flats inside of the box.

When i cut open the box there were some right at the top that have wiggled up between the flaps but they weren't spilling out. I went through them and None of them were dead all of them were fat and healthy looking so over all a they get :main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup:

If anyone is looking for their info shoot me a pm.
