My new young leo is pooping in it's warm hide. This seems very strange to me, but i am a first timer. The warm hide is a large one and corona is the only one in the tank? if it helps.

Since the gecko is still young, this could change though. I have some aldult geckos that keep pooping in the hide (moist and dry) and some that did it as a juvenile, but now drop it in the corner of the tank.

Most of my geckos that have hammocks in their tanks like to poop on the hammock. With the hide-pooping gecko, you could try moving the hide a bit to see if s/he poops in the new hide location, or where the hide used to be.

Not sure if it works for geckos, but for everything else Ive litter trained, sometimes you can take the poops and put them where you want them to go. If that corner starts smelling like thats where they go, perhaps they will start using it.

Mine both use the same corner, so I made a psuedo litter box tile for that corner, makes cleanup easier.

Mine changes places where she poops - I don't mind, as long as she is pooping!

Mine does it too but the white stuff sorta sticks on the hammock. How would you clean it?

I have a small towel that covers the top of their humid hide for shading; and I have a few that likes pooping on the towel!

You can try collect its poops and put them in one corner; see if that'll change its toilet spot.

We have 2 that go in their hammocks. One guy likes to go in the corner of his coconut ( warm hide). We have one big nasty boy that poos in his food dish EVERY night. He eats all the food then takes a poo in the dish...yuck. I tried moving the dish to another spot and he still did it. I guess on the up side atleast they are pooping even if it's not where we want them to, LOL.
