I have been noticing that my two females have developed white pinhead dots on their skin mostly on their heads and a few on their tails. They have stopped eating for the past few weeks, but I just moved back to MA for the summer and I'm feeling that it's just because of the move, but the white dots are confusing me. Anyone come across this before?

Dry skin around shedding time can give an appearance similar to what you're describing. It usually looks kind of like dandruff. Can you get a photo of them?

Welcome back to MA! Sounds like pre-pre-shed and move adjustment (possibly combined with ovulation) to me too.

Back from Florida

Yes Aliza, I'm back from Florida. Geckos and I are getting used to traveling back and forth. We have it down to a fine art now. I have small reptile keepers for during the day in the car. I keep the heat on and a towel over the keepers. At night I have two large reptile keepers (approx 16X8) that each have an under the tank heater and a cool hide as well. They can stretch their legs etc. During the day with the towel over them they sleep anyways. They take the trip very well and have been doing it for 4 trips now. Brooke is beautiful and very healthy looking and Noah (Mack Snow) is very manly and gorgeous. He has a temper though, but I chock it up to being a manly man. If you would like to get babies from Brooke I would understand and you could keep her for a while. I think you would get some beautiful babies from her. You would be the Grandma you know...

We are pretty certain we will be moving this year for good to Florida so I have been going through everything cleaning out. Boy what we collect over the years.
