Yeah... Same here.. My two suppliers have NONE! :(

5000 would be great.. would get me through a week. I am going to order some King Mealworms this weekend and hope for the best.. and I guess I will have to feed the dreaded crickets to the babies. :(

I know it stinks! Even my pet store is out of meal worms. They said their breeder that they get their meal worms from (Flucker's) is out. :( Darn!

Seriously, what is going on!?! I'm totally freaking out--I can't feed crickets in my current living situation, and I've been going through 10,000 large every 2-3 weeks! Now I can't even get 100...so much for the worm suppliers taking care of their loyal customers :main_angry: I'm seriously on the verge of completely losing it...I have 160 very hungry geckos...and they are my life

can anyone suggest a comparable feeder that costs roughly the same as mealworms? It's quickly becoming a real possibility that I might have to sell off the majority of my collection--I just can't afford to feed them if I can't get mealworms... HELP!!!

my local pet store has like... geeze.... 5,000-6,000 consistently right now, with a new shipment every Tuesday.... they are from Rainbow... and cost an arm and a leg... That is the ONLY place I can get ANY right now....

Superworms are the best alternative to mealworms. I am currently using Giant Mealworms, which my supplier still has.

I recommend everyone to start Using supers as an alternative during the shortage, they are easy to breed and come in sizes great for Hatchlings to Adults.

Supers and Phoenix Worms would be the way to go, in my opinion.... Phoenix Worms need to come down in price though.... hopefully soon, they will.

I guess Superworms might be your best bet. They cost more per animal, but they are also larger. So probably pound for pound you will pay the about the same. Phoenix worms are very expensive, although a good food source.

Thankfully the petco here still as some large (about 5 containers of 500 each) and lots of giant mealworms. That's not a lot for those who have a lot of geckos, but atleast it is something.
I wish I knew how to ship them to ya'll, but I've never done it.
I have tried to start breeding my own, but have yet to see any results.
