why do my leopard geckos eyes look like this?

Do you mean why aren't they open all the way? try this: dip your finger in water and let a drop fall on each eye. See if that helps it open its eyes all the way. When I was breeding geckos I had some hatchlings that had trouble opening their eyes and after some weeks of this treatment, most of them improved noticeably. If you see crusting or swelling it may have an infection and will need to see a vet.
