Well, ive never been a big fan of red stripes, so ive never looked into the bell red stripes, but I do know that bells seem to be alot harder than trempers or RWs to cross with other genetics, they dont seem to bond as well or something

Well... there is Tangerine Striped Bells but not red Stripe yet... Really just beginning of Designers Tangerine in Bell Albinos... I have Tangerine Stripe Bell Male but no Red Stripe influence yet... I believe maybe 2 or 3 Red Stripe Bell male out there hidden or not hear of yet. Red Stripe seems have difficulty with all Albino strains and only reason successfully made because they put time into.

I believe this to be false...

Bells are the newest albino strain and honestly, when they first hit the market, they were not the most popular because they were not "as nice" as the other two strains so not many at all worked with them... I feel, for those reasons, that we do not see the same variety of morphs in Bells as we do in the other two strains

People like Kelli saw the potential in the Bells and rolled with it... Now that they are much more refined, they are gaining popularity and are now being introduced into a wider variety of morphs...

Thats how I see it anyway...:main_thumbsup:

yeah, but its been proven aready that the bells are atleast slightly harder to cross with other genetics. theres no bell blazing blizzard yet, and a couple others. but any way, one of my bells are from kelli's line. stripe, "het"(i say it with "" cause i know theyre not true hets) red stripe. and i was just wandering, but cool, thanks guys.

LMAO!! Ok my red stripe bell doesn't have very pronounced red stripes. I'll be working on that. :)The grandfather was a tang bell het for stripe/red stripe. It is straight up not true, that bells are harder to cross with any morph. If you do some research on the Tremper blazings and the Rainwater blazings you'll find that both strains took extreme amounts of double het breedings before the first of either strain BB was produced.

It was just as hard to produce Tremper BBs... It also took a long time before there were Tremper patternless albinos...LVs were the first to be incorperated in the patternless line... And I am also not sure how many LV BBs there are out there... And Kelli did produce a Bell BB...

Anyway, Tremper and LV albinos have been around alot longer and there has been much more work done with them compared to bells... The odds are all the same and they have NOT been proven harder to mix with other genetics compared to the other two strains... The odds have just not played in their favor... I just take a bunch of double het breedings to have two recessive genes expressed in a single animal... The odds look good when figured out on paper or on a genetics wizard but they do not work out that way in the real world..

i post the same question regarding the difficult to breed bells in combo..but many people that has working with them for long time say is not true..
i never breed bell before, so i can't be able to have my own opinion about that..

Is it just me or has there been more work done with Bell hybinos than any other bell morph? I like tremper albinos, but Im also working will bells. So far ive only bred bell with bell. I think one of the reasons that bells have had less work with them is because alot of the other morphs have tremper albino in them, and those morphs are out in the spot light more often. Such as Raptors, Aptors, Blazing blizzards, Giants, etc. IMO the enigmas will bring alot of attention to bells since every enigma out there is a het or possible het bell. I have a feeling that everyone will be breeding them to bells for the first year or so just to prove them out before corssing them with other strains (at least I hope).

From the surface it seems that way, but there's quite a few people still trying for a Bell Blazing Blizzard and a couple working on Bell Patternless Albinos. Once those two are made there'll be a bunch of new combos to make. I think we'll see a lot more Jungle and Striped Bells available this year and hopefully a few surprises too.

Now I'm confused... I thought that those called 'racing red stripes' were bell red stripe albinos, but most people here didn't even know about their existence.

Then, what do you call a 'racing red stripe'?
