I have three enclosures with lined day geckos. Two are 18x18x24 with three geckos apiece. The third is 36x36x18 with 4 geckos. One of the geckos in the large enclosure is known to be a male and the other three are female. The smaller tanks are last year's offspring of pairings of the male and one of the females in the large tank. I was not surprised to be finding several hatchlings in the large tank this year. What has surprised me was finding eggs in one of the smaller enclosures as I had presumed, they were all female. As I understand it, Males are not so easy to produce, requiring higher temps during incubation.
I am not completely surprised as my home is not air-conditioned
On a side note, are there any insurance companies in need of mascots?
