It looks similar to an Hovabator, but not as deep. John is right... LLL Reptile sells Hovabators for less than $50, and they include the deli cups and incubation medium.

i dont like shipping, i'd rather go some place I can pick it up...

let me ask this.

I already have a reptostat 500 (not a rheastat) or whatever it's called. I can buy a real nice size thick cooler from wall-mart for 7 bucks. That's 27 dollars so far i can get flexwatt pretty cheap, right? or would a UTH type heater possibly work?

The only place I can find cheaper is lllreptiles and your only looking at about a dollar difference but they give you a few goodies to go with it like dell cups and hatchrite or something.

most likely the tractor supply one is a little giant.

And you could still use the thermostat to make sure it runs at a correct temp.

I have a little giant and it seems to work just as well as my hovabator. Alot of the tractor supply stores have them on sale right now. I got my LG for 33.00.

I'm using the LG right now - on Day 1 :)

I couldn't get 1 chicken egg to hatch in it, but since it's a still air hopefully I'll get leo eggs to hatch!

We got one from our local feed store for our male incubator and it works just as well as a Hovabator.

Marcia, I went to LLL last night to purchase another hovabator, but noticed they no longer have the one without the thermal fan, do you know where else I could find one that's of a good price? Everywhere I've checked theyr'e $50 and over. LLL had there's for $40 ($50 shipped). The only one I seem to be able to find is the thermal air flow.
