we took willie to the vet today. the past two days she has been just blah about everything. it was also time for her to shed, but she wasn't even trying to get her skin off.
the vet (same dr. that saved her life shortly after my boyfriend rescued her), took xrays of her and said she has two "monster eggs" inside and they're pushing everything around. poor precious willie!
so he gave her a shot of oxytocin, and told us to take her home and keep an eye on her. he said if no eggs by tomorrow morning, to give her some more oxytocin that he gave to us.
if no eggs by monday, she goes back to the vet and he said we'd go over other options. she is at my boyfriend's house right now bc he lives maybe 15 miles from the vet, versus the 80 mile drive it is for me. i wish i could be there with her, but i have to work tomorrow. i'm at the mercy of phone calls with updates and its agony!
please keep willie in your thoughts! she is absolutely precious...and since her nickname is "pieces", she is our "precious pieces." as much as i would love to hatch her babies, i just want her to be ok.
