Michael, you're going to do great with your rehab! I look forward to hearing about how great you feel physically and emotionally later down the road but we're all here for you if you need to do some whining along the way. LOL I had a really inspirational friend who was left quadriplegic after in neck injury in college. He wasn't one to be told that he couldn't do anything and worked toward being able to use his arms with limited mobility. He owned a retail business and drove his own van while not even being able to breath on his own. Some of it comes down to your body but I think most of recovery is dependent on spirit. So keep your spirits up! This is the beginning of a new start in your life which is pretty exciting.

I'm a quad too, but I am a high functioning one... My urologist thought I was a para until just recently... LOL...

I don't know you very well.. but with what I've read from you seem like a strong determined person. I know you will do so well in the recovery center and come out better then ever. Keep your spirits high..
