well heres the situation, i got worms and beetles in 2 seperate containers, they are the same exact containers and they are sitting right next to each other on the top shelf in my closet, the one with the worms in has mold on the oatmeal and the walls of the inside of the container is wet, the one with the beetles is fine, is it...
not enough ventilation?? or is it because my closet door is closed? thanks..the temps stay around 79-83 in my closet with the door closed, and i have it closed cuz my incubator is in there, tahnks again

I think it may be to hot in your closet for the mealies. I know when I leave my melaies lids closed, the food (wet items) start to get moldy. That's why I have to keep the lids off them containers. Maybe try to move them some where else, or open the door. :)

I don't use lids in my mealworm containers for max ventilation. Make sure you don't feed those mealworms to your geckos, as they probably had eaten some of the moldy oatmeal.

I thought mealies did best in cooler (60 to 70ish!) temps?

Dont the pet stores refrigerate them to keep them from turning into beetles?
